Well, left Parkwood at 11am, and finished at 10pm, 509kms at Sunnyside township. Went to Mt St Helens, very interesting to see the trees still blown over. Couldn’t see Mt St Helens as really socked in by cloud. Roads were interesting as lots of subsidence, dips, holes and bumps, so glad it wasn’t wet.
Roads from a T junction, heading towards Cougar were absolutely awesome! Had a break at Cougar before heading onwards. From Hood River bridge, all the way to Granger, it was really windy, especially along the river and over the top of the pass.
Finally got to Granger, dinosaur town, why, no idea and the volcano toilets were shut lols.
Had a roll at a truck stop and was struggling to find somewhere to safely to camp. Headed on to Sunnyside, apparently home to astronaut Bonnie Dunbar.
Finally booked into a motel at 10pm
